The Opinion Scanner mobile application (the “App”) and the website opinionscanner.app (the “Site”) are published by Frédéric Marcie, an individual.

3. What Opinion Scanner does

Opinion Scanner measures how press media cover the news: it groups the articles that media publish into daily topics and shows which media covered each one. It does not rank, endorse or rewrite the press.

4. Third-party content and links

The headlines, names, logos and links shown in the App belong to the media that publish them and to their owners. They are shown to identify sources and to lead to the original articles. Opinion Scanner does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content.

To report content that you believe is unlawful or infringes your rights, write to contact@opinionscanner.app with the address of the content, your identity and the reason for your request. We will examine it promptly.

5. Intellectual property

The Opinion Scanner name, logo, design, code, texts, and the way coverage is measured and presented are protected by intellectual property law and belong to their publisher. Any reproduction or use without prior written permission is prohibited, except as the law allows.

6. Liability

We work to keep the Site and the App accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or the absence of errors. Measurements of press coverage are provided for information and depend on the sources we can read. Nothing in this notice limits rights that you hold under mandatory law.

7. Personal data and cookies

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The Site does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.

8. Applicable law

This notice and the use of the Site are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
